Montréal pianist and composer Andrés Vial (pronounced Vee-al) brings his trio, featuring bassist Ira Coleman and drummer André White, to GigSpace for the first time. They will perform original compositions from Vial's recent Juno nominated albums, as well as standards and jazz tunes by Bud Powell, Charlie Parker, Thelonious Monk, George Shearing, Harold Arlen and others.

Vial has has performed with Joe Chambers, Peter Bernstein, Ingrid Jensen, Malika Tirolien (Bokanté), Ivan Neville, Michael Blake, Kevin Dean, Greg Cohen, Al McLean, Ethnic Heritage Ensemble, Bassekou Kouyate and Ngoni Ba and many others.
